MLB insider Jon Morosi shared some news about the 2x World Series Champion, saying that his injuries are not severe. He mentioned, “Yes, Mookie left the ballpark last night on crutches but initial X-rays are negative.” It is indeed good news for the team and the fans, but Jon kept on saying, “It’s not clear yet Lauren, when Mookie is going to come back into the lineup.” Well, though the injury is not severe, it will still take some time to heal. So, the outfielder can’t immediately come back to the game. However, the exact time is unknown. Mookie was replaced by Michael Busch in the eighth inning of Thursday’s game.

As the Playoffs are coming closer, players have been giving their all to the games. So, despite his injury, Betts continued playing until the 8th inning and then left the game. The foot injury report is negative is indeed relaxing news for the fans, but still, they have been anxious about the MVP race of their idol.
