He mentioned, “Yes, Mookie left the ballpark last night on crutches but initial X-rays are negative.” It is indeed good news for the team and the fans, but Jon kept on saying, “It’s not clear yet Lauren, when Mookie is going to come back into the lineup.” Well, though the injury is not severe, it will still take some time to heal. So, the outfielder can’t immediately come back to the game. However, the exact time is unknown. Mookie was replaced by Michael Busch in the eighth inning of Thursday’s game.
