Older Brother of the Ex-girlfriend of Alex Rodriguez Once Gushed About His Favorite Memory of the Athlete and His Sister

Coming off of a divorce is not easy, but one has to move on at some point in their life. That’s what the former Yankee Alex Rodriguez did after coming out of a divorce from his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. He moved on with the Hollywood actress Kate Hudson, who was also was coming out of a relationship with Owen Wilson. 

They had met in 2008, and soon their rumored relationship was dominating the headlines. A picture of them kissing also went viral during their relationship. They started dating in May 2009, and the actress was spotted at the third baseman’s games. She even threw a big birthday bash for Rodriguez to celebrate his 34th birthday. It was also a celebration for the team’s championship number 27.

Hudson was there with him when the New York Yankees won their last championship ring in 2009. However, they broke up the next month. But Hudson did not know that her older brother would still be in contact with her ex-boyfriend years after their relationship. Oliver Hudson, in the show, Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen, in 2020, shared his favorite story of the former couple.

What did Oliver say about Alex Rodriguez?

As Oliver appeared on the show with his sister Kate, one of the topics he talked about was his sister’s relationship with the former Yankee Alex Rodriguez. Although he did not say much about the relationship of the former couple, he did share his favorite memory of them.

“I do have one beautiful memory when we were in Canada and I’m waking up in the morning,” his story began. “I look out over the lake and A.Rod is, like, waist deep in the morning sun doing these stretches and I’m like, ‘Who is this man?'”

Kate Hudson’s older brother Oliver Hudson with Joe Buck hosts a podcast called ‘Daddy Issues.” Last year, for one of the episodes, Oliver invited his sister’s ex-boyfriend, the Yankees icon Alex Rodriguez to his show. What was strange about this fact was that Kate did not know about any of it till the episode was released.
