Not long ago, A’s fans arranged a Reverse Boycott campaign, where fans filled the Coliseum with over 27,000 fans. Notably, the protest was successful, encouraging fans not to stop before stopping their team’s base from changing. And now, to make it happen, fans are planning something similar to what happened in the NBA’s All-Star voting ballot back in 2017.

A veteran basketball player with not-so-good statistics received over 400,000 votes from fans and trolls. Although NBA implemented a measure to stop this from happening in the future, it does not change the fact that fans were successful at doing what they wanted. And now, the Athletics fans are planning something similar, but with a slight twist. The A’s fans aren’t planning to vote for only one player to the All-Star. But for every single eligible player of their team.

Every fan is granted a total of five ballots per day till June 22. Whether the A’s plan against the MLB commissioner Rob Manfred will work will be revealed later. For now, they are trying their best to stop the move by launching this “Anti-Manfred” campaign.?

Athletics fans do not care about $380 million!

Recently, the Nevada State Senate passed a bill of $380 million to help fund the proposed stadium for the Oakland A’s move to Las Vegas. Despite facing rejection from many sectors, Nevada lawmakers passed it without any issue.?

Notably, it was a setback for the A’s fans amid their protest to stop the move. Despite this, they are working hard to keep the A’s where they belong.
