‘Positive’ Oakland Update, Hours After $380,000,000 Las Vegas Negotiations Fails to Win Over Fans

It all started with the franchise owner John Fisher’s decision to move the franchise to a new place. However, the passing of a bill providing $380 million in public money to succeed this plan has made it worse. Though fans have done everything from boycotts to reverse boycotts against the move, nothing has worked for their cause. In a recent development, the Oakland management further ignited the controversy by not proposing a different location for the upcoming season.

The most recent report suggests that Oakland management is considering another season at the Coliseum. As A’s have cleared that they will shift their bases to a new place, fans could not get over this news. Reacting to it, they have shared their objections to the whole decision.

Also, according to the above report, the decision has been taken even after the availability of multiple options. It includes the Triple-A ballparks in Reno, Las Vegas, and Sacramento. Fans who have protested all season against the owner have not liked this decision either.
