Throughout the protests against John Fisher, Athletics fans have shown up with signs, t-shirts, and other items. But a green t-shirt with the word ?sell? written across it has earned special honors. The Baseball Hall of Fame recently confirmed that the fan-made shirt earned a place in Cooperstown. This is massive news as the protests against Fisher and the Athletics? move to Las Vegas continue. Mercury News shared an update on Twitter confirming the honor as well as an article with further details.

In the Tweet, they said, ?Oakland A?s fan-created ?SELL? shirt is on its way to Baseball Hall of Fame.??Cooperstown executive Jon Shestakofsky said that the Hall of Fame is interested in telling the story of the game. That is why the ?sell? t-shirt has earned its place. According to the Mercury News, Shestakofsky also said, ?We are here to document history and preserve that history as it relates to baseball and it relates to the game. That happens on the field, when a significant accomplishment takes place, but it also happens off the field.??

Athletics fans have protested against the move to Las Vegas without rest. This includes gatherings outside The Coliseum and even during games. Earlier this month, they trashed The Coliseum shortly after a big win. But the green ?sell? t-shirt has become a popular symbol of the protest.
