In an aim to bring baseball back to Georgia’s fifth largest city, a couple worked hard enough to create a team that has now become one of the biggest attractions in all of baseball. The only aim of the Bananas is to make baseball, and so far, they’ve been quite successful at it. What started a little six years ago has become a sensation that baseball fans look forward to most. While continuing the tradition of doing something new on the field every night, the Bananas’ pitcher lit a ball on fire before throwing it to the hitter in front of him. Notably, watching the video has left baseball fans on Twitter awestruck.

The Savannah Bananas baseball team is attracting the baseball audience game after game with their innovative and attractive plays. Although it is never easy for a local team to gain such attention, the Bananas have sold out every home game since 2017 and have thousands of people on the waiting list wanting to get a ticket.
After yesterday’s trick, when one Bananas pitcher lit the baseball before pitching it to the batter, in no time, it grabbed the attention of the audience. And with this incident going viral, the Bananas have increased their fan following tenfold.

In the fall of 2015, Georgia’s city saw its only minor league team leaving it without baseball for the first time since 1972. Then came Jesse Cole and his wife, who emptied their bank accounts and maxed out their credit cards to bring baseball back to their city.
