Despite winning the American League East Division comfortably with two strong competitors in Toronto, and Tampa, the Pinstripes have failed to create a significant impact in the National League Division Series against the Cleveland Guardians. Aaron Judge, after hitting 61 home runs in the regular season, is yet to smash a homer in the postseason.

Moreover, after yesterday’s loss, the Yanks are now down by a game at 1-2 in the ALDS. And for them to remain alive in the postseason, they have to win the upcoming game. However, their next game is an away game at Progressive Field. But if they manage to intercept the Guardians, their last game is back at The Bronx. Aaron Judge talked about exactly that after yesterday’s disappointing last-inning loss.
What did The Judge say after the Yankees’ World Series diminish?
Judge starts off by talking about the final-inning loss being a hard pill to swallow. He said, “Lost a tough one tonight. You just got to come back, and do our thing these next two games and take it back to The Bronx, as simple as that.”

He further talked about the Guardians, their dominant performance in the Division Series, and facing them all through the season. He stated, “They came out there, they battled. Put some tough at-bats against us. And this team we’ve been dealing with them all year long. This is nothing new to us. Keep our heads up, go out and just do our job tomorrow.”
All in all, the next ALDS game is do-or-die for the New York Yankees. And if they win the next game in Cleveland, they get to come back home and play the decider at Yankee Stadium. Will they be able to conquer past the Guardians?

Given that Aaron Judge will be entering the free market after the conclusion of 2022, the superstar slugger has multiple suitors. While experts think that the Yankee outfielder can easily bag a $300 million contract in the upcoming season, who is the leading contender to buy Judge if the Yankees back out?
According to a MARCA piece, the San Francisco Giants will be willing to go all-out to bring Aaron Judge, who grew up in the bay area, back home.
All in all, after Judge’s performance in 2022, whoever is remotely interested in pursuing him would have to be ready to generously empty their pockets. And very rightly so. The only question that remains in fans’ minds is that will Judge consistently maintain and replicate these performances? And if he can, who will go the highest? What is your take on Judge?
