The air in the arena of a sports game crackles with the excitement of the fans. Fans who gear up for a game with their shoelaces tightly tied, foam fingers snug on their hands, and the vibrant jerseys of their favorite teams shining through the crowd. Those who believe that sports are only about the stunning plays on the field have yet to direct their eyes to the stands. Some spectators sit back and enjoy the game, while others are on the brink of mania, their emotions rising and falling with every play.

When it comes to baseball fans, they’re a passionate and prepared bunch. They come armed with everything at their disposal so as to not miss a single second of the game. One baseball fan took her game-day preparation to a whole new level. She had her sight set on every single pitch and home run, even when it was soaring straight to the sun.

The lady had been waiting her whole life for this moment 

As a baseball game commenced in the ballpark, a woman was perched in the stands, her camera trained on the action. With a pair of sunglasses resting on her forehead, she clearly wasn’t an average spectator.

For instance, during the World Baseball Classic, amidst the electrifying environment, the camera caught a fan in the stands, who had a shoe in his hands and a mischievous gleam in his eye.

Without missing a beat, the fan poured beer into the shoe – an old-age tradition of the ‘shoey.’ As he stood up with the shoe brew in hand, raised the shoe to his lips, and chugged the beer all in a few seconds. The fans around him cheered for him just as they would cheer for their favorite players. Baseball fans sure know how to keep it neat!
