He elaborated on an example of owning a home, spending money on maintaining it, and ultimately waiting a long time before selling it. He says, “You have nine homes. And each one of them costs you a million dollars a year. So you have nine million dollars of negative cash flow. You buy real estate, you hold on to it, you never sell, you refinance it. Sometimes you have to sell for strategic reason but then you land”

Further, A-Rod talks about his two big regrets through a sketch from the ballpark. He says, “I have two regrets in real estate. I didn’t buy enough, and the second one, I sold. But it’s okay. You have to sell sometimes. You got to get a double. Not everything’s going to be a home run, there’s no ned to be greedy. Take a single, take it off the table.”
