The two former athletes made their debut in their respective games with a difference of only one year. Both Brady and Suzuki continued to grow in NFL and MLB, respectively. They continued to achieve uncountable accolades as they grew and became a star in their game. Little did anyone know, even while playing at the same time as the best quarterback, Suzuki somehow managed to never hear about the iconic Tom Brady.

Two years before Suzuki bid farewell and was gearing up for the MLB’s 2017 regular season, he got a message from an unknown number. He told one of his coaches about it, and when he asked who the person was, the baseball star said, “Some guy named Tom Brady. Who the f**k is Tom Brady?”

The last six words must have undoubtedly sent the coach into a horrific shock. However, the contents of the text are still not clear. But apparently, the ex-athlete, Alex Rodriguez, had passed along Suzuki’s contact to the NFL star. Notably, when this story came to light in 2018, it must have sent the entire sports industry into a frenzy.
