While Derek Jeter spent his entire 20-year-long Yankees career in the Bronx, Eli Manning also dedicated his entire career to the New York Giants. In a brand new episode of The Eli Manning Show, Jeter and Manning compete to prove who’s better at Daddy Duties, and the surrounding conversation, result, and outcome leave everyone in splits.

Manning, however, married his University of Mississippi love, Abby McGrew, in the first half of 2008. At that moment, New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter was still pondering around Manhattan with his various romantic escapades. By the same token, almost eight years after Eli’s marriage, Jeter and Hannah Davis married in 2016, after dating for five years.

Today, both the New York athletes are parents. Manning has three daughters and one son, Lucy, Caroline, Ava, and Charles. On the other hand, Jeter and Hannah Davis have three daughters, River, Story, and Bella.

In the episode, the two fathers engage in a competition to prove who’s the better father. Before starting the competition, Manning says, “So basically, this is a competition. It is speed, but also you have to make sure you get the job.”

Proceeding to explain the three rounds of the competition, Manning discusses the diaper changing round, shoe lays tying round, and finally, the cooking round. He says, “We’re going to start with – you got to change and put a diaper on the baby. You have to tie a show, both of them. Both shoes and double-knotted. And then we’re going to make peanut butter and jelly and cut it into fours.”

Before the start of the competition, the shortstop and quarterback engage in some banter. Manning talks about the game being unfair as Jeter has a one-year-old daughter, while all his children are out of diapers. The Yankees legend, however, defended himself by saying, “But I don’t know what brand of diapers we’re using here. We use velcro instead of ties. Peanut butter and jelly I used to eat before every baseball game. And I have not had one since I retired.”

Finally, as the pair enters the competition, Jeter gains a significant lead before reaching the sandwich-making round. And emerges victorious after creating the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or something that tries its best to look like a sandwich.
