Kansas City Chiefs, led by QB Patrick Mahomes narrowly beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII despite gaining a lead in the first half. However, while a few fans may beg to differ, the close football game wasn’t the only showstopper on the much-awaited Super Bowl evening. Rihanna, who later revealed that she’s pregnant, set the stage on fire with a jaw-dropping performance that led fans to believe that a Rihanna concert was being interrupted by a football game.

Rihanna’s already colossal fanbase fell for another unbelievable performance. However, this time, the nine-time Grammy award winner’s performance found a way to unite two giant New York rivals, and the Subway Series managed to find a common interest to bond over.

As a result, the Subway Series found a common talking point with skipper Aaron Boone and the New York Mets, who thoroughly enjoyed a splendid presentation.

Who were the New York Mets supporting during the Super Bowl?

Entering their third Super Bowl in the last four years, the Kansas City Chiefs had multiple admirers in the MLB world. Front lining this support was the New York Mets, who openly admitted their support toward the Chiefs, thanks to Mets fan, and Chiefs QB, Patrick Mahomes.

SNY Mets uploaded a few images of Patrick Mahomes, decked in Mets attire, saying, “We know who we’re rooting for today.”

And despite a controversial end to the game, the Mets would have had a good night’s sleep after Kansas City won their second Super Bowl since 2019.
