The New York Yankees have had amassed struggles since the start of the season. Their pitching and batting have let them down. Cortes is currently on a 15-day injured list. And during this, Cortes is enjoying his time off the MLB duty. And in the line of the same, he recently watched the NFL preseason game between the New York Jets and the New York Giants. Yankees Videos shared a post related to it. Cortes must have enjoyed the engaging encounter as the New York Jets claimed the victory. Aaron Rodgers, who signed for the Jets, played his first NFL game for them. It was amazing that Cortes witnessed and might witness more games like this during his recovery from the shoulder injury.
However, fans were not happy. Although Cortes has done well with a win-loss record of 5-2 and 67 strikeouts, they expected better from him, especially when the Yankees were fighting the Rays. His visit to the New York Giants vs. New York Mets game, leaving behind his star-studded worth $7.1 billion team, irked the fans.

Fans want their players to help the team during the tough phase. The Yankees, who are currently struggling, need every bit of strength from its players.
