Philadelphia Eagles had 12 wins out of 13 in week 14 of the NFL season. As they did so, they claimed their rightful spot in the playoffs by winning over the New York Giants. The Eagles did have an easy entry into the playoffs when compared to the Phillies’ entry.
But Dykstra chose to make fun of the team he played for in the last season of his career. In his tweet, he wrote, “Congratulations to the Philadelphia @Eagles on being 12-1 and qualifying for the postseason (a little more convincingly than the @Phillies did so).”
