Injuries may be a part and parcel on the football field, but an injury of this gravity is bound to shock the entire realm of football. At the same time, one can only imagine what Damar Hamlin’s teammates went through on the field. As a result, the NFL suspended the game, and while followers would consider this to be the only course of action, ace sports commentator Skip Bayless thought otherwise. Following this, he found the heat of various netizens, including renowned internet stars, amongst whom were former MLB star Lenny Dykstra, and his own co-anchor on Undisputed Live, Shannon Sharpe.

Three-time NFL Champion Shannon Sharpe displayed his agitation against Skip Bayless’ tweet by bailing on Undisputed Live. But New York Mets 1986 World Champion believed that despite bailing on the show, Sharpe isn’t talking about “you know what.” By which the outfielder implies the involvement of the COVID-19 vaccine in the reported cardiac arrest of Buffalo Bills’ safety, Hamlin.

Lenny Dykstra responds to Bayless’ insensitive comment but doesn’t leave out Sharpe either

Following the accident and the eventual suspension of the game, Skip Bayless questioned that decision and the importance of a game like this to the NFL postseason. The tweet said, “No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

Since Hamlin fell due to a heavy blow to his chest. And the revelation of the injury stemming from a cardiac arrest, Lenny Dykstra, has consistently raised concerns about the involvement of the COVID-19 vaccine in the incident. Despite the lack of any credible source, Dykstra has made his stance very clear. And consequently, he targeted Bayless but didn’t leave out Sharpe, who took the moral high ground by boycotting the show after Bayless’ heartless comment.

Dykstra asked the Broncos’ tight end to talk about the real thing. Which, according to him, is the vaccine’s association with Hamlin’s fall. While condemning what Bayless said, Dykstra stated, “Bayless was out of line, but as if Sharpe is keeping it soooooooooo real and “our people” while avoiding mention of you know what.”
