The collapse of Damar Hamlin in early January 2023 sparked numerous theories and suspicions. While it was officially labeled as a cardiac arrest, many believed that the NFL was concealing something significant. One of these individuals was former MLB player Lenny Dykstra, who had long been skeptical of reports that suggested a quick recovery for Buffalo Bills safety, Damar Hamlin. In fact, Dykstra, who played for the Mets and Phillies from 1985 to 1996, also went as far as saying that the safety passed away, and the Bills’ management, in alliance with the NFL, continued to conceal the vaccine’s role in his fall.

Despite Damar Hamlin’s appearance in the divisional finals between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills, Lenny Dykstra remained unconvinced. Furthermore, even when Hamlin posted a photo in an attempt to quell conspiracy theories, Dykstra still failed to believe Hamlin’s situation.

On every occasion, Dykstra consistently questioned the possibility of Damar Hamlin featuring in an interview to clear all the rumors. And finally, Hamlin did. Now, Lenny Dykstra has no option but to believe the reality that’s in front of him.

Lenny Dykstra’s finally convinced

Through the Buffalo Bills’ social media handle, safety Hamlin sent a special message to all his fans, which unequivocally puts a full stop to all conspiracies. “A special message from our guy @HamlinIsland.” – said the caption of the Bills’ social media upload.

Lenny Dykstra, while being possibly stumped by this piece of news, finally acknowledged the situation. He said, “Whoa, just saw this, great news!”

What next for Damar Hamlin?

While Damar Hamlin has made really good progress, in quick time, there is still uncertainty whether the safety will be returning to football anytime soon. Or ever, for that matter. The Buffalo Bills have offered complete space and freedom to Hamlin to make an informed judgement at his own time.
