What made Mahomes’ father tell him he was born to play in the NFL?
Having seen his father on the diamond, a young Patrick Mahomes loved to be in the ballpark, throwing some balls around. During one such day, when Mahomes Jr. started the game as a shortstop, he threw the ball across the diamond and accidentally hit the first baseman between his eyes, breaking his glasses.
