In the world of sports, there are no limitations to talent. Many athletes made their name in multiple fields, not just at the amateur level, but also at the highest level professionally. One such name is Deion Sanders, who played for over a decade in MLB and NFL. Because of his sheer talent, Sanders was involved in exciting things and remained in the highlights. One such clip has again made it to social media, that has left baseball fans awestruck.

The legendary player started his MLB journey in 1989 with the New York Yankees as a left fielder. He followed the same with his NFL debut with the Atlanta Falcons as a cornerback in the same year of his MLB debut. It has been over two decades since his last MLB appearance, but his antics during the baseball games still give fans goosebumps.

Deion Sanders once scored a home run and touchdown within a week!

It’s hard to believe in the present that a player can score a baseball home run and then stamp his authority with a touchdown in the same week. But the past has experienced it through Deion Sanders. Lately, a Twitter user shared the video clip from his outing for the Yankees.

The announcer in the video described the whole incident, ?For the 3-2 pitch. Drill the centerfield. Bo Jackson going over Leets and can’t get it. It goes all the way to the fence. Deion Sanders blazing around second. Tabor goes over to get the ball placed in their wavering home. The throat of the plate gets on by. Sanders flies over, and now he is safe at home. There’s a pile of bodies on the plate.”?

A week after this outstanding performance, Sanders went on the football pitch and scored a touchdown for the Falcons. The player eventually retired from baseball in 2001 but continued playing football till 2005. Now a football coach, Sanders is finding new talents and guiding them to become better football players. He often goes to the camps and scouts for players. But because of some health issues, Sanders could not attend the camp this time.

Sanders shared an update on his health!

According to recent updates, Coach Sanders could not attend the HBCU camp due to unforeseen circumstances. The reason shared by Sanders is that he had to take care of his body. According to The Spun, Sanders said, ?I will send a few of my coaches there. Several of my coaches, matter of fact, will still be on hand to evaluate the talent and possibly, responsibly select some players that are smart, tough, fast, and disciplined ? with character. And don?t forget good grades.”?

Though there was nothing precisely said about his health in the report.
