In February 2022, Tom Brady announced his retirement from football only to unretire less than two months later. He suited up for the 2022 season amongst a lot of controversy and hype. But the journey is now over. Brady has announced his retirement for a second time on Twitter. In response to his retirement announcement, Jeter shared a little message for his longtime friend on Twitter. 

In the Tweet, Jeter said, “Congrats @TomBrady on an unbelievable career. It was fun to watch!” The Yankee legend also shared Brady’s announcement video. In the video, Brady was extremely straightforward and said, “I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring, for good.” He then acknowledged his first retirement, stating that he wanted to keep it short and sweet.
