Watching football is a favorite pastime for millions of people in America. This includes celebrities, pop stars, and even baseball players. One such baseball player is none other than CC Sabathia, Derek Jeter’s legendary Yankees teammate. The 2009 World Series champion is an avid football fan and follows the game with great interest.

But the retired pitcher is not enjoying watching his favorite team play at the moment because of their recent slump. Sabathia’s favorite team lost their most recent game, and the Yankee legend had something to say about it.

The Las Vegas Raiders are losing and CC Sabathia didn’t take it very well

Apparently, the Las Vegas Raiders happen to be CC Sabathia’s favorite football team. In a Tweet that he shared, Sabathia said that the Raiders always find a way to lose. Furthermore, the Raiders are currently 6-9 and languishing near the bottom of the AFC West. His frustration is understandable.

In the Tweet, Sabathia said, “My Raiders always find new ways to lose”. This was shortly after the team had lost their latest game to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fans have reacted to the tweet supporting Sabathia’s point. Some have pointed out how bad the Raiders are and others wondered when the suffering will end.

Sabathia was also recently asked some questions about the Yankees and Judge’s whopping contract. And the Yankees legend could not control and stepped into the Aaron Judge contract debate. When asked about his opinion on Judge’s humongous contract, Sabathia said that the Yankees star got paid the perfect amount.

Derek Jeter and Sabathia won the World Series together in 2009. Sabathia was extremely effective during the postseason run while Jeter played fantastically. The two of them helped lead the Yankees to their 27th World Series title.
