Derek Jeter valued winning more than anything else and made it the central focus of his baseball career. During a 20-year career with the New York Yankees, he won 5 World Series titles. Furthermore, with those titles came festive celebrations.
Jeter recently opened up on the victory parades in New York City and called them the best in the world. He attributed this to the fans.

Derek Jeter considered New York parades the best in the world
Jeter recently appeared on The Eli Manning Show and talked about all kinds of things related to his career. While discussing winning, the topic shifted to parades and the Yankees legend had a lot to say about the New York parades. He described them as incredible and that there is nothing like a New York parade.
Jeter said “Never seen that many people in one spot before. You never will, you you cannot replicate that no matter what you do. It’s just a special place to play.” Luckily The Captain was able to experience it more than one time as he won 5 World Series titles.

Similar to Jeter, Eli Manning also knows about the parades from personal experience, having won 2 Super Bowl titles with the New York Giants. Like Jeter, Manning played his whole career in New York, retiring as one of the city’s biggest icons.

The New York Yankees have not celebrated a victory parade since the 2009 World Series victory. Although they have made it to the playoffs in recent years. The team has not made it back to the World Series since the 2009 victory.
