Recently, while talking to the former NFL star, Jeter was asked a tough question. And guess what? Handling it like a pro, the Yankees legend’s cheeky reply put Manning in trouble for a while.

What did Derek Jeter say when he got asked to choose between his World Series wins?

Recently, Manning sat down with the Yankees’ former Captain, Derek Jeter the first time to talk about various things, including the greatest moments of their career. For Jeter, undoubtedly, winning five World Series rings comes in the top moments of his career. And thus, choosing one championship ring over the other is something nearly impossible for him.

When the former New York Giants QB asked Jeter if one of his World Series wins was better than the other, Jeter replied with three simple words, “They’re like kids.”

Just like the way a parent cannot choose favorites between his kids, Captain Clutch could not choose between the World Series wins. The motive for each one of them was to win, and each matters equally to Jeter. When talking about Manning, the former Giants QB was also a champion player during his playing days. Having played for over 15 years, Eli won two Super Bowl titles in his NFL career.

What else did Jeter talk about to Manning?

Aside from Manning asking Jeter to choose between his World Series wins, the NFL star talked about his motivation from Jeter. He talked about how he wanted to reach the level where Derek Jeter was in his career with the New Yorkers.

Not only did they talk about the wins they both had in their respective careers, but they also talked about the obstacles they faced. New York is a tough place to play. Additionally, people’s levels of NYC expectations are high, any amount of help is appreciated, and Manning got that from Jeter.
