Using a Groupon coupon for Red Lobster, that was about to expire. Jeter, in regard to that line in the letter, said, ?He?s always been cheap,? ribbing him right back.?

However, the end of the letter, while written in good humor, might still have some truth. The letter concluded when Manning revealed the captain was his favorite New Yorker. At the same time, the quarterback skipped another Yorker, his brother Eli Manning. Goes to show how special some little moments are.
