New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter is an avid follower of traditions. Be it pouring champagne on others after winning or having the same notable delicacy before his games, with a good dose of that delicacy and stubbornness, the former shortstop used to come into the ballparks and smash home runs. But ever since the Captain retired from the game, he hasn’t had that delicacy.

Recently, Jeter was invited to the NFL legend Eli Manning’s show. Wherein while talking about daddy duties, the Yankees legend also spoke about the famous breakfast item that was a part of his routine before coming to the field.

Just as Jeter was about to start putting a diaper on the fake baby, he said on Eli Manning’s show, “Peanut butter and jelly, I used to eat before every baseball game, and I have not had one since I retired.”

Aside from this, Jeter added he used to make it himself, as he would not let anyone else prepare it for him before going into the ballparks. Manning was, however, amused by that fact. Then both the legends went on to tie diapers and put on shoes for the dolls.

Manning or Jeter: who won in diaper duty?

Since both the former athletes are fathers, their ability to tie diapers was not questioned. But it was a fun challenge to see who would do it fast. First, they had to tie the diapers to the dolls and then had to tie the knots of the shoes. And Jeter lost to Manning on tying the diaper by less than a second.

But the challenge was not yet done. After tying the knots, the athletes had to put together a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. And this time, the former shortstop completed a good few seconds before the NFL’s former star quarterback.

What is your reaction on Jeter’s unique bond with Manning?
