In sports, as in life, fans get to witness events within events. These are the moments that can shape and change the course of the game. Apart from the ongoing battle on the grounds, several players also fight with their mind games. Recently, something similar happened between Gerrit Cole, and Josh Naylor.

After losing two consecutive games to the Cleveland Guardians in the ALDS, the New York Yankees bounced back in Game 4, to tie the series. Although, the Yankees won the game, Naylor’s wild celebration against Cole was the highlight of the game. However, it seems like Naylor’s celebration did not bother Cole at all.

Unlike the Cleveland Guardians hitter Josh Naylor, Gerrit Cole was focused on his game. He did not get affected when Naylor tried to provoke him with rock the baby celebration while running around the bases. Ultimately, the Yankees won the game in the end and tied the series 2-2.
