An Unmarried Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis Once Made a Sophisticated Appearance at a Met Gala Event Graced by Elite Celebrities

Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis (Jeter) are considered one of the most prominent celebrity couples now. Before they got married, they were stars in their own respective professions. They kept their relationship hidden for the most part. But they did make a special appearance at a glamorous social event once. 

Derek Jeter is a legendary baseball icon who played his entire MLB career for the New York Yankees. He established his status as one of the greatest shortstops ever. Derek is a 14-time All-Star player and five-time World Series champion. Whereas, Hannah Jeter is a world-famous model with a strong foothold in the fashion industry. 

Derek and Hannah are a very private couple. They prefer to keep their personal life to themselves. The pair rarely got seen together in public before marriage. However, they made a grand appearance at the 2015 Met Gala event. 

Derek Jeter and Hannah: A rare public outing before marriage 

Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis (Jeter) first met each other at a social event in 2012. It was a meeting at a New York dining club that happened through a mutual friend. Both immediately struck up a connection and started dating. A few months later, the pair got noticed eating out at a restaurant in Tampa, Florida. 

But after that, the couple was not seen together in public for a long time. Both even denied making any comments on their relationship. That was until the Met Gala event in 2015. The pair, yet to be engaged at that time, made their first ever red carpet appearance. 

Hannah dressed up in a royal J. Mendel gown. While Derek sported a stylish tuxedo by Rag & Bone. The event, as every other year, got embellished by the attendance of numerous other frontline celebrities. The dignified personalities included Helen Mirren, Benedict Cumberbatch, Julianne Moore, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, etc.

Interestingly, 2015 was also the year when Derek and Hannah got engaged, the same year that they publicized the status of their relationship. However, there were once rumors of Derek being disappointed with a swimsuit photoshoot of Hannah. But Hannah reportedly commented on the issue saying, “Everyone was really excited for me. Everyone in my life, I mean, this is huge. So they’re all very happy.”

Derek and Hannah got married in 2016. They have been happily together since then. The couple is now the parents of three daughters.
