Gerrit Cole, New York Yankees’ ace, is melting hearts once again. The 32-year-old is among one of the best that the MLB world has seen in a while. The pitcher shone in the last Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins game, which the Bronx team won 2-0. In the nine innings that he pitched, he struck out ten batters, giving up only two hits in total. It was Cole’s fourth career shutout and second complete game in the 2023 season. As Yankee fans cheered, they were joined by the player’s family.
The pitcher has been married to Amy Crawford, former UCLA softball player and the sister of the Giants’ shortstop Brandon Crawford, since 2018. Their two sons, Caden and Everett, often join their mom in supporting their dad at Yankees games. The two boys are also a constant feature on the couple’s social media in heartwarming posts, and they made another appearance on Amy’s Instagram recently.
