Aaron Judge wears the pinstripes of the New York Yankees with pride and has solidified his place in the hearts of baseball fans in every corner of the nation. And the display of his raw power made him one of the most sought-after players in the league. Manager Aaron Boone had nothing but praise for Aaron Judge, calling him “the best man.” Boone recounted several instances when the team would be celebrating a win and he would stand next to Judge during the ceremonies. He admitted that he sometimes took the phenom for granted.
“There were so many times last year where we’d be celebrating a win and we’d be doing a belt ceremony and I stand right next to him when we do that and every now and then I say I gotta stop taking you for granted,” Boone said.
He then raved about the slugger’s ability to consistently perform well, whether it be hitting, stealing bases, or making great plays, everything left the manager in awe.

Boone also acknowledged that Judge’s impact goes beyond just his talent. “He’s just so easy to deal with and when he’s your star player, he’s your best player.” He continued on to say that Judge is a natural leader who drives the culture of the team and sets the tone of a room. As he continues to grow and take on even more responsibility, the manager expects him to have yet another dominant season – as long as he stays healthy, Boone added. And with Judge’s continued presence on the team for the next nine years, the future looks bright for the Yankees!

And now that Aaron Judge has been bestowed the title of captain upon him, he has been given some new roles as well. In addition to leading the team, Judge is getting ready to brew a storm in the left field this season, a position he hasn’t played since his college days.
