Notably, Judge is now a free agent since his contract with the Yanks expired after the 2022 MLB season. Although the Pinstripes tried to sign their talisman earlier this season, before the opening day. But Judge was smart enough to reject a $213.5 million contract and take a bet on himself.

Will Aaron Judge accept the 8-year extension from the Pinstripes?

Aaron Judge is the sort of impactful player every MLB team wants to hold in their lineup. So, understandably, the Yankees don’t want to depart with him either. So recently, the Pinstripes management made yet another contract extension offer, an 8-year deal for a whopping $300 million.

Taking to Twitter, Talkin’ Yanks shared the same. “The Yankees current offer to Aaron Judge is around eight years and $300 million, per Jeff Passan,” the tweet said.

Meanwhile, speaking on the matter, Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner reportedly said, “I just want him to know how I felt. In case there was any lack of clarity or ambiguity. We have plenty of ability to, and Aaron and I talked about this, to make this happen and still have money to make other things happen. My budget for Judge is going to be what I feel we can do.
