Fatherhood may not be the easiest of jobs, but for those who enjoy it, it becomes a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Parenting means raising an entire human being capable of functioning in society, and that’s not an easy job by any standards. And former pro baseballer Derek Jeter seems to be loving it. Ever since the ex-Yankee popped up on social media, he shares his life as a father more often than not.
Married to supermodel Hannah Davis in 2016, the couple now has three daughters, aged five, four, and one. Bella, Story, and River Jeter may create chaos for the former shortstop, but he wouldn’t have it any other way. In fact, he often talks about his kids’ antics like he’s irritated, but on the inside, it’s all happiness. A recent social media post is only more proof of how much Jeter loves his daughters.

People often say that time moves too fast when one is having fun. Parents are no different, most of whom would keep their kids a certain age if they could, soaking in all the sweetness. Derek Jeter is much the same, and posted a picture to Instagram with the caption, “How do you stop time??” In the photo, the retired athlete is holding one of his daughters, who’s curled up on his shoulder, with a beach in the background.

For someone who played baseball with the care and attention that Derek Jeter did, it’s not out of the realm of believability that he would be a doting father. If one is still doubtful, just read his Instagram bio. The first line says, “Sleep-deprived father to three amazing girls.” True, ensuring one’s kids go to sleep means sacrificing their own, but the former Yankee seems to be handling it well.
What does Jeter’s comment section say when it comes to his family-oriented posts?

The internet loves to see wholesome moments if some of the most viral posts on social media are anything to go by. Be it one’s family or a cute video of a dog – cats will do too – people love to see sweet moments. And Jeter’s post was no different.
Answering Jeter’s question of time, one fan said, “Unfortunately you can’t, remember your kids are only leased to you, they eventually go out on their own. Circle of life!! #family.” While another one quipped, “By taking a picture like this.” Someone also made a crack about when Jeter retired, “we were asking this same question during your final season.”
