Baseball icon Derek Jeter has won five world series in his twenty-year tenure with the New York Yankees. No other team comes even close when it comes to the World Series the Yanks have won till now. Jeter’s fifth World Series ring came in 2009, the team’s last. But before winning the ’09 series, the former baseball player helped his team win back-to-back three fall classics 1998-2000. Since it happened, no other team in baseball history has managed to get three WS wins in a row.?
And now, after a tremendous performance in the playoffs last season, it is speculated that the Astros can manage to get the three Fall Classic wins as the Yanks did in 2000. Derek Jeter being who he is, also got asked about it. But having been a Yankee for his whole baseball career, it was indeed challenging for him to admit that the Astros might be able to do it.?

What did Derek Jeter say about the Astros?
While growing up, former shortstop Derek Jeter saw only one dream. It was to play baseball wearing the pinstripes. He fulfilled his dream and had a tremendous career in the Bronx. The ex-athlete got 99.7% of the votes in his first year on the Hall of Fame ballot. He had a career that made him a great of the game.?
Therefore, it might never get easy for him to admit that some other team can someday break the record he once made wearing pinstripes. While wearing a blue polo t-shirt with a hat of Player’s Tribune, he awkwardly said,?“Just seems like regardless of what happens, they just seem to replenish every year, which is important for you to have sustainable success.”

During the short interview, the Captain never looked straight, and his posture told that he indeed had a hard time admitting what the Astros are capable of.?
How did the fans react to Jeter’s response about the Astros?
Many of the fans expressed what the Hall of Famer must have been feeling at the time of this interview. Others agreed that he said the right thing, however challenging it may be for him.?

I thought the 2018 Astros had a great chance to repeat with one of the greatest starting rotations I've ever seen. They also had the 1-0 ALCS lead after winning Game 1 at Boston. But the 2023 Astros will repeat as World Series champions! Not fooling around in 2023. Special year!!
