Although it is a good thing for the Yankees fans that their team does not have to play the wild card round, Alex Rodriguez would still do his part in the wild card round. Yes! The former Yankee will team up with the renowned Yankee sportscaster, Michael Kay, for the Phillies v/s Cardinals game.

Taking to Twitter, Michael informed the same.

“Tune in to ABC today at 2 pm for the first game of the wild card series between the Phillies and the Cardinals live from St. Louis. Join me, Alex Rodriguez, and Alden Gonzalez for the call,” Michael Kay tweeted.

“The St. Louis Cardinals host the Philadelphia Phillies at 2 p.m. on ABC. The team of Michael Kay and World Series Champion Alex Rodriguez will call the series with Alden Gonzalez reporting,” ESPN press release shared the commentary team in detail.
