Consequently, as Judge hunted down the magic number 61, former Yankee legends reached their Twitter minutes after the outfielder created history. It started with former Yankee captain Derek Jeter, who retired in 2014 with five World Championships. He summed up his response in a simple yet powerful one-word tweet. He said, “Yes!!! @TheJudge44

A few minutes after Jeter’s tweet, seven-time National League MVP, Barry Bonds, reacted to Judge’s home run via an Instagram story. He said, “Congratulations @thejudge44 !”

Finally, the streak of legendary responses concluded with 4-time American League Hank Aaron Award winner icon, Alex Rodriguez, reaching his Twitter. He said, “Bam!!!! 61 for @TheJudge44!!”

After a four-match-long Red Sox series at home, and two games from the Blue Jay series, finally, Aaron Judge calmed everyone’s nerves by blasting his 61st from 2022. Fans, teammates, celebrities, and ex-players, everyone waited for the historic home run.

After a failed contract negotiation for a seven-year contract extension with the Yanks, Judge signed a one-year contract for $19 million. Subsequently, as the world approaches 2022’s winter, the outfielder will enter the free market. And his 61st homer will exponentially up his buying price.
