Most recently, A-Rod gifted his private chef a game-worn jersey from the 2009 World Series. It is a massive gesture from the former Yankees star as he parts ways with a truly iconic jersey. A-Rod’s chef Jose L DeJesus Jr shared an Instagram Story of the MLB legend signing and giving him the jersey. The Yankee’s former third baseman even explained the significance of the jersey.

In the story, Rodriguez said, “This is the real McCoy, 2009 game-used jersey. Only, only three of them ever made, cause game 1,2, and Pettitte and Mo locked it down for game 6. So, special piece. I’m going to give you my A signature baby.”
