Even though MLB is going through its season, baseball players do not want to miss their workouts. Notably, regular season or not, the regular workout is something that keeps the athletes in their zone. And a New York Yankees superstar seems to be very serious about his fitness, too, as a recent video of him working out has been doing rounds on the internet.

Since the offseason is a perfect time to work on conditioning the body and getting ready for the next season. The Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton seems to be doing just that before launching moonshots in the 2023 MLB regular season.

A Twitter user called Jonny’s Lasagna recently shared a video of Stanton working out this offseason. The Yankee star was seen doing an improvised routine with weights to help with his swing. The video shows Stanton working out at his home gym and really going at it. Jonny’s Lasagna shared the video on Twitter and said “Creative workouts like these are so great for hitters🔥”

Although Stanton had an odd 2022 season, he did make the All-Star team for his efforts. The last time he was an All-Star was in 2017. But it was a good sight for fans to see the former MVP working on his body and getting into the best shape possible.

But Stanton wasn’t the only person that struggled this year. When Aaron Judge received criticism for performing poorly in the playoffs, Stanton defended him. Earlier this year, when Aaron Judge was named MVP, he broke a record set by his teammate. And Stanton had nothing but love for Judge.

When Aaron Judge accepted the AL MVP award earlier this year, he became the tallest MVP in MLB history. While doing so, he broke a record set by Stanton in 2017, when he took home the NL MVP while playing for the Miami Marlins.
