And the New York Yankees clinched the title for the 20th time! It is time for celebration as the team won American League’s East Title after three years. Meanwhile, champagne showers have already taken place after the team’s win against the Toronto Blue Jays at their home ground, Roger Centre.

There was another thing that the Yankee fans and team were hoping to happen, but it did not. The potential MVP from the Yankees, Aaron Judge, was expected to hit two homers to break the all-time record of Roger Maris’ sixty AL career home runs. But the games aren’t over yet.
Also, the one thing that stood out the most in Tuesday night’s game was not related to the Yankees. Jays’ first baseman and designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a walk-off single and had a pre-victory celebration against the Pinstripes. That pivotal win celebration came back to bite him as the Yanks eventually won the game and made their way to the ALDS.
How did a pre-win celebration against the New York Yankees become bad for Vlad?
While scoring a walk-off single at the end of the tenth winning, the first baseman must have thought that the victory was completely in the Jays’ hands. Therefore, after the walk-off, cameras caught Guerrero Jr chanting, “This is my house,” interpreting that the Jays won at their home ground.

But the man couldn’t have been more wrong. His pre-win celebration might have stolen the show, but not in the right manner. Wanting for the Yanks to not steal his thunder, Jr became a source of mockery. Not only by the Yankees fans but also by MLB Pundits as well.
The fans did seem to have a great time while mocking Vlad the Impaler and celebrating the Yankees’ win at the same time.
How did the fans react to the Yankees winning the AL East title?
It really was nice of Vlad to let the Yankees celebrate in his house!
