According to Jon Heyman, this group includes the Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Angels, Boston Red Sox, and the San Francisco Giants. Interestingly, the New York Yankees are still not in the race of signing. But will they get a shot now, after the competition has increased?

Which Team Will Get a Yes From Stroman if Not the Yankees?

Well, from the first instance, the 27-time champions should be signing the free agent due to the multiple links in them. Whatever they may be, are strong enough to pull him to the Bronx. Plus, his contract value, which is around $25 million a year, makes him a great deal for any team looking to add experience on the mound. However, if not the Yankees, which team may sign Stroman in the upcoming days?

According to Heyman, the Orioles are not in the lead position, which leaves the Angels, Red Sox, and Giants as possible names. In this case, Perry Minasian’s connection with Stroman as a former scout could be a reason for his signing for the Halos. Then Boston could be another if they miss out on first preferred targets. So does the Giants, who have been in for every available pitcher.
