The ‘Starting 9’ podcast on the Barstool Sports network recently speculated about Judge’s future. Retired baseball legend?Jake Arrieta?and sports analyst?Barstool Carl?host the podcast. They discussed many other contemporary MLB topics in the episode. But the matter of Judge’s next probable team was in constant talks with a link-up to the New York Mets.?

Speaking on the podcast, Carl?said,?“I think Steve Cohen is going to pay him $60 million this offseason or $55 million. I think Steve Cohen’s going to do something absolutely ridiculous to bring him to the Mets.”?Arrieta asked in turn, “What do you do? Do you try and offer him, let’s say, a three or four-year deal, and we’ll pay you 80 million a year?”?

Carl replied,?“I would do. Four years, over $200 million. Opt out after year one, opt out after a year two or something. I would do whatever it takes. But I think the days of eight-year 354 position player are going to change for the next couple of years.”?

Aaron Judge focussed on the World Series?

Until now, Judge has not picked his next team. Even if he secretly has, he is yet to reveal it. Putting everything aside, Judge is more focused on winning the World Series with the Yankees this season.
