With no relief in sight, the New York Yankees seem to be plagued by yet another injury. The Yanks have many of their iconic talents on the injured list, including the captain Aaron Judge, aces Carlos Rodon, Nestor Cortes Jr, and others. Recently, the Yanks played their second game of the three-game series against the Texas Rangers at Yankee Stadium. Although the Yankees somehow won the game, probably at the cost of yet another player getting injured.
With 11 home runs and 37 RBI, Yankees’ first baseman Anthony Rizzo is playing fairly well this season. However, the second game of the series against Rangers might have put a strain on his efforts.

The Yankees’ IL seems ready to welcome another player
Sometime during the last night’s game, when neither team had scored anything, tragedy struck Rizzo. He accidentally hit the baseball in a way that it bounced off and struck his own knee, resulting in him falling to the ground.
Moments later, manager Aaron Boone and help from the dugout came onto the plate to help Rizzo. However, before they reached, the slugger had already lifted himself up from the ground and had his hands rested above his knees. The player’s courageous demeanor persisted even in the aftermath of the incident.

After this fall, Rizzo insisted on staying in the game and played to his potential, eventually helping the team win. Soon after the clip of Rizzo falling to the ground went up on Twitter, fans’ frustration peaked, filling them with fear and anger at the same time.
Yankees fans find themselves deeply aggravated!
Considering the number of players currently on the injured list, Rizzo being there is the last thing that the Bronx Bombers need right now. Hence, they are frustrated with this recent development. And they are also sure that Rizzo might get on the injured list before tonight’s series finale against the Rangers.
Here’s how the Yankees fanbase is reacting to a probable injury update:
My heart sank into my stomach watching him fall to the ground after this foul ball off his knee

Cashman loving it. Another injury for him to shift blame onto instead of reflecting on his own failed process
