Almost every clubhouse in any sport has a certain rule, regulation, or policy. When talking about MLB clubhouses, the Angels have a tradition to let their home run hitter wear the infamous cowboy hat, while the Red Sox do a laundry cart ride to celebrate the win.
Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada once scared Jeff Karstens after joking about a new hair policy
Jeff Karstens did not have an impressive career in Major League Baseball. However, he played for two years for the biggest MLB franchise, the New York Yankees. During his time at the Yankees, Karstens shared the clubhouse with Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez. Later, he went on to play for the Pittsburgh Pirates and retired from the game after just seven years of his MLB career.
Recently, Karstens shared an interesting incident with Jeter. Karstens revealed Jeter and Posada scared the hell out of him when they joked about the Yankees coming with a new hair policy. What was more terrifying was that they talked about the policy; especially about Karstens’ eyebrows.
“Sitting here watching this Yankee game and it brings back a lot of memories…one time post-game, Jeter joked with Posada that they were gonna have to come up with a new facial hair policy for my eyebrows,” Karstens tweeted.
