Alex Rodriguez will have his name written in golden letters in MLB history. The ex-Yankees shortstop played for over two decades and retired as one of the best hitters. Rodriguez claimed all the success and had many achievements in his name. Given all this, he continues to be an inspiration to many. But there is another side to his MLB career, which continues to follow MLB great years after his retirement. Though Rodriguez achieved everything, because of using PEDs, things have become difficult for the ex-player.

Many fans have not welcomed him, even after Rodriguez completed his suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs. He continues to get criticism during public interaction and is often found alone handling it. But this time, he was not alone. Rodriguez’s friend and fellow analyst Michael Kay supported him with MLB fans when a Twitter user tried to bring his old perception into the picture.

Kay’s response came when a fan addressed A-Rod as ‘Roid’, signaling his PEDs case. However, Kay’s unhappiness was evident, prompting him to summon the other person to retrieve those words.

He said, “And yet you watched and you would never have the nerve to say that to his face, would you? Of course not. I mean, you have a bag on your face on this site, so the chances of insulting Alex to his face fall under the heading of no chance.”

The response was a hit and got all the support from the MLB fans, who joined in with their reactions to the case.
