The ongoing MLB season has been a center of attraction for celebrities across the world. Multiple stars from Hollywood to other sports have witnessed the exciting affairs between the different teams. Continuing the same trend, two top NBA prospects made their presence felt at the Rogers Centre. This was the second such appearance from the NBA sphere after Victor Wembanyama, who even threw the ceremonial pitch at the Bronx Stadium.

Given the visit came after the recently concluded NBA draft, it became one of the game highlights. The Toronto Blue Jays also shared a message with the world upon the visit from two future NBA stars.

The NBA recently concluded the 2023 NBA draft that sealed the fate of many future stars, including Gradey Dick and Markquis Nowell. The two young players recently signed for the Toronto Raptors and will ply their trade for them in the future. Given that Toronto would be their home for the next few years, the duo has started to know the city.

The duo recently visited the Rogers Centre and enjoyed their time watching an MLB game between the Blue Jays and Oakland Athletics. Confirming the same, Blue Jays shared an Instagram post with the caption, “New to The North! Welcome to Toronto, Gradey Dick and Markquis Nowell.”

Fans also loved this gesture from them and appreciated their effort since the NBA draft. This was not the only visit that became the highlight of the MLB and NBA interaction. Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs had an impactful start to his time in the country. The 7’4” power forward entertained the baseball fans at the Bronx Stadium and even got reactions from the Yankees skipper Aaron Boone.

The cross-sports interactions are always fun to watch. The same was true with Wembanyama, who visited the Yankee Stadium and made the first pitch. Not only this, he also entertained the fans with his interaction skills and gifts for the young fans. Though there were two highlights from his visit, one was his meeting with Jose Trevino, whom the former put under the shadow of his high reach. And the other was the reaction from Boone on his first pitch.

Though days after his visit, the player confirmed a job in his hand with the San Antonio Spurs, with whom he would look to achieve brilliant success.
