Back in the 2016 MLB season, the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians (now, Guardians) were competing in the World Series games. And Dwyane Wade, who happens to be a good friend and former teammate of LeBron James, accepted a bet with the then-Cavaliers star.

Per Uninterrupted, LeBron accepted the challenge to arrive at the Cavaliers v/s Bulls game while wearing a Chicago Cubs uniform if the Cubs win the World Series. Notably, given the Cubs had not won a championship in the last 100 years, they were not the favorites in 2016 either.

But little did James know that the Cubs will make history by ending their 108-year title drought in Chicago. And LeBron had no option but to honor his bet to Wade.

LeBron wore the Cubs uniform and arrived at the Cavaliers v/s Bulls game with Dwyane Wade. Although it was just a bet, LeBron received huge praises for his sporting gesture.
