The NBA playoffs are going on and are getting enormous interest from all around the sports world. In the western conference finals, the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers are currently fighting for a place in the NBA finals. Notably, the Nuggets are in pole position at the moment against the LeBron James starter Lakers. But the Houston Astros’ slugger Alex Bregman, who dreamed of playing in the NBA once, believes that James might do the impossible to knock out the Nuggets and cement the Lakers’ place in the NBA finals.

Notably, given it is a high-contention contest, it will not be easy for the Lakers to come back and outclass the in-form Nuggets. But Bregman’s latest Instagram update suggests that he is still rooting for the Lakers and James to make it to the finals.

Alex Bregman backs LeBron James and the Lakers in the conference finals

It is no secret that Bregman is a big LeBron fan. Recently, he quoted an Instagram post related to the NBA superstar. The Astros slugger it in his Instagram story, focusing on the comeback from the Lakers. The Lakers made it to the postseason after finishing seventh at the end of the league stage. Then they defeated Golden State Warriors for a place in the conference finals.

In comparison, the Nuggets finished the league at the top spot in the Western Conference. The Nuggets beat the Phoenix Suns in the conference semifinals to make it to the penultimate series of the postseason. They are in an influential position in the ongoing conference finals and can win it when they play on Monday. It will be interesting to see what unfolds later in the day, but Bregman will have his eyes on the game.

Even though the Astros, third baseman, could not fulfill his basketball dreams. He lived it as a coach of famous NBA players. It happened during the NBA All-Star Game, held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bregman was on the support staff of Team Ryan, which had some of the famous stars across sports. Team Dwyane, coached by Giannis Antetokounmpo, won the tie with a score of 81 to 78.
