Born on 23 August 1978, Kobe Bryant would have celebrated his 45th birthday yesterday. However, he had a tragic helicopter crash taken him away from the world in early 2020. Alex Rodriguez reflected the same and shared a beautiful message in his Instagram post for his beloved friend.

The message read, “It was a great honor to know @kobebryant. He brought the Mamba Mentality to every element of his life, not only to sports but to business as well. I will always cherish the time we spent together and the knowledge and passion he brought to the world. HBD Kobe…”
It went in sync with the teachings of life the two shared. It was visible in the advice which Bryant gave to Alex during his slump during the 2012 ALCS that put him on the other side of the world. Bryant said, “You go out there and do the best job you can. If they take you out of the lineup, it’s really on you to be a good teammate and support the other guys, which he’s good about doing.”
Being a very simple yet effective life advice, it not only helped Alex’s career later on but also became a part of his business ventures. While Rodriguez acknowledged the void, fans joined in with their reactions to the beautiful scenario of their forever friendship.
