The former Yankee, Alex Rodriguez’s admiration for the 5x NBA Champion overflowed at this gesture by the Dodgers. In addition to not being from Los Angeles, A-Rod co-owns a major part of NBA team, Minnesota Timberwolves. And this, so happens to be a stark rival of the Lakers.

But keeping all differences aside, the 14-time All-Star showed the world that no rivalry is beyond heartfelt appreciation for talent. He took to liking the Dodgers’ Instagram post and completely aligned with their gesture. And this is not the first time A-Rod has been articulate about his love for the Black Mamba.

This philosophy unique to the Black Mamba, has transcended from sports to business ventures. Rodriguez has recalled multiple of Bryant’s advice, one being “There are no days off.
