Who are they? Well, former MLB sensation Alex Rodriguez and home run king Barry Bonds shared some rare moments together while on their way to an NBA game.

As they cruised along, Rodriguez couldn’t help but poke fun at his fellow ballplayer, calling him a personal Uber driver. Bonds, in good spirits, joined in on the joke, and the two share a hearty laugh. Alex Rodriguez calling Barry Bonds an Uber driver in jest

Alex Rodriguez recently took to Instagram to share a video that had every baseball fan’s heart skipping a beat. As he sat in the passenger seat of a car in rainy San Francisco, A-Rod teased his followers with a mischievous grin on his face. “When you think of San Francisco, you think of great Uber drivers,” he said, before panning the camera to reveal none other than baseball legend Barry Bonds behind the wheel. 

Bonds looked surprised but amused by the situation as A-Rod couldn’t contain his laughter. “You got me Driving Miss Daisy,” Bonds joked, referencing the classic film about an African-American chauffeur driving a white woman in the segregated South. “Times have changed,” he added before A-Rod hailed Bonds as “the GOAT” and thanked him for the “great Uber service in San Fran baby.”

These two former baseball phenoms sure looked like they were having a great time! And it was a treat to see them at the Timber Wolves game where they were headed as well!

After their fun cruise in rainy San Francisco, the two settled into the electric atmosphere of the NBA match between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Golden State Warriors. The air had been thick with the tension of the close match. It is interesting because Alex Rodriguez had been rooting for the Timberwolves as he co-owns the team, while Barry Bonds was equally passionate while rooting for the Warriors. 

Despite the final score of 109-104 in favor of the Warriors and the home run kings’ huge grin, it seemed like A-Rod’s spirits didn’t deflate. Well, glad that their enjoyment of the game was not affected by who won!
