Dipping his hands into business had always been a dream for MLB icon Alex Rodriguez. Shortly after getting his first paycheck from the big league, the former World Series champ fulfilled this dream of his. Even so, he did not stop his hustle and eventually created an empire worth $350 million. However, during this hustle, Alex also had to face some failures. Another success came his way after that, when Alex, in partnership with billionaire Marc Lore, bought the NBA’s Timberwolves and WNBA’s Lynx. The whole idea of A-Rod buying the Mets was to turn around the team completely on its reputation. As known by many, the deal, at the time, was pretty public. And when it failed, it became an even bigger news. But none of that was going to stop the CEO of A-Rod Corp. Hence, within a span of days, the idea had already brewed in his mind of the takeover of another sport’s team, the Timberwolves, and Lynx.

It doesn’t matter to Alex if the Timberwolves aren’t a baseball team. He knows that he tried his best for the Mets. And since his aim was to buy a sports team and turn it around for a great future, he went ahead and bought shares in the Timberwolves.
