New York Mets’ Francisco Lindor gifts gloves to Donovan Mitchell

If not for a couple of series against the SF Giants and San Diego Padres, the New York Mets are yet to lose any series in the 2022 season. The Mets have been the most consistent team in the National League this season.

Considering their red-hot form, this is the perfect time to become a New York Mets fan. And the NA star Donovan Mitchell is one of them. Recently, the Utah Jazz star made his presence in the Citi Field and took bullpen with the Mets players.

Taking to Twitter, the Jazz star shared a short video on the microblogging site. In the video, one can see him practicing in the Citi Field. He captioned the video, “Came back like Mike wearing 45.”

MLB insider Anthony DiComo, even confirmed that the Mets star, Francisco Lindor, gifted him a couple of gloves. “Francisco Lindor hooked him up with a pair of batting gloves after this round,” DiComo tweeted.

Can the Mets continue their domination?

Given the current scenario, the Buck Showalter-led team has emerged as the best in the National League. With 42 wins out of 65 games, the Mets are at the top of the NL, while teams like the Dodgers, Padres, and Giants are still fighting for the top spot.
