Multimillionaire Alex Rodriguez, on the way to expand his business empire, bought stakes in the NBA franchise Minnesota Timberwolves in 2021. Since the deal got finalized, the former Yankee has done everything in his power to turn around the team for good. And now, his and co-owner billionaire Marc Lore’s tireless efforts have started bearing fruits. Being in the eighth seed, the Timberwolves have clinched the playoff berth for the second time in a row under A-Rod’s ownership. Now the team is set to go against Denver Nuggets for a three-game series, starting tonight, April 25.
But before the big game, the enthusiastic 14x All-Star Alex Rodriguez is cheering up the team, and its players, including point guard Mike Conley Jr. with a gracious gesture.

Taking it to Instagram before the big game against the Nuggets, Alex posted a video of Conley Jr. catching up with him in the lobby. As the NBA player did so, Alex gave him a side hug and said, “That’s my guy right here.”

During this small incident, A-Rod had a huge smile on his face, proud of every single athlete on the team. As the former Yankee posted the video on his Instagram, he wrote beside it, “We will see you tomorrow night.”

Alex knows how to cheer the team up!
Aside from rotating around the team for good, A-Rod has never let a moment go by without appreciating the fantastic staff and its players for doing a tremendous job in the arena.
